Account Executive
Full time · Remote
The role
You keep our clients' campaigns moving. A client has created a campaign in their portal or handed us a brief; you make sure what they asked for happens, on time and right: the headlines and images, the landing page and the tracking, the budget pacing against its target, the numbers in the report explained in the client's own terms. You are their day-to-day contact and the first to notice when something drifts. You work directly with the people who plan and run the campaigns and built the portal, so you learn the whole trade, not one corner of it.
What you will do
- Set up and check campaigns before anything goes live: headlines, images, landing pages, tracking and targeting, exactly as briefed.
- Watch delivery against target every day and raise anything that drifts: the pacing, a broken link, a page that has stopped converting.
- Be the day-to-day contact for a set of clients: answer questions, take changes, and confirm when they are live.
- Prepare client updates and month-end reports from the live numbers, in the client's terms, not ours.
- Keep campaign records, screenshots and the CRM tidy, so anyone can pick up an account cold.
- Help size audiences and build proposals for new business.
- Learn the audience data: what the signals are, what they cost and what they bring.
What you will bring
- Working autonomously is essential: you run your own week, close your own loops and ask for help early, not after.
- Reporting is essential: what you did, what moved and what is stuck, in writing, every week, without being asked.
- One to three years in an agency, a media owner or a brand's marketing team, or a graduate who can show us something they have run end to end.
- Attention to detail that borders on stubborn. A wrong link or a wrong image costs a client money.
- Numbers you are comfortable with: percentages, pacing, cost per result, a spreadsheet that balances.
- Clear writing and a calm manner with clients, especially when something has gone wrong.
- Organization: several clients, several campaigns, one list that is always current.
- Curiosity about travel, and about how an ad finds the right person.
Good to have
- Hands-on time in a paid media platform: native, paid social or search.
- Analytics and basic tracking: reading a report, placing a tag, checking it fired.
- A travel background, on either side of the booking.
- Enough design sense to crop an image well and to spot a bad one.
- Using AI tools and automation in your own work: research, drafting, reporting, the repetitive parts.
What we offer
- The whole trade, learned from the people doing it: audiences, media, tracking, reporting and clients.
- A clear path to running accounts yourself.
- Remote, with the equipment you need.
- Pay discussed openly at the first conversation. We do not publish a band.
